We are contactable via phone. This is extremely important, no matter what minding service you use make sure they have a business phone number so you can contact them directly should there be any last minute problems with your minder. As we have been in business for years we know all the unexpected last minute issues that can and do occur and we are ready for them.
We have a qualified dog behaviourist on staff so our Minders can contact us 24/7 for any questions they may have about a dog in their care. Our Minders can contact us at anytime to discuss any health issues they think your dog may have and if necessary we can call you or your emergency contact to discuss whether a trip to your vet is required. If a vet visit is required we can organise this and anything else your dog may require during their stay.
You can go on your trip knowing, we are dog lovers just like you and we truly care about your dogs health and wellbeing so they will be treated just like our own dogs.
If you are debating on whether to use a private dog minder or a registered professional dog minding company like TopDog Minders, then you should ask yourself the following before deciding:
Should a dog owner happen to make a "private arrangement" with one of our minders, we will NOT accept ANY responsibility for anything that goes wrong. If there is no recorded booking, it is nonexistent and therefore, there is no protection. The minder will also be taken off our list of approved minders.
